This resource is for applicants who are required to obtain an Idaho Department of Health & Welfare background check or clearance for services provided to department clients through their agencies, as employees, or as required by state statute.

After logging in, click your agency name at the bottom of the home page to find the provider number/payment codes you should give applicants when submitting an application.

  • Schedule a time using the online calendar from your account page when you are logged into the Background Check Unit system.
  • Some offices offer limited walk-in services. See this week's walk-in locations availability.
