A proven and economical clamping element from ENEMAC Kleinwallstadt in Germany is the mechanical power clamping nut ESB. By using it, the purchase of expensive special tools can be avoided in the simplest way. Its technology guarantees the highest clamping forces and maximum operational safety.
The housing gets firstly screwed onto an existing threaded bolt, then the operating hexagon at the top is turned with a torque wrench, in individual cases also with a commercially available socket wrench. The ESB clamps your workpiece or tool safely and, above all, quickly.
The secret of the clamping nut is hidden inside. A planetary gear mounted in stable claws can be operated with minimal effort, which means that the counterpart is tensioned. With very little manual effort by the fitter, forces of up to 20 t can be achieved.
The longevity of this series was tested on a specially designed test bench with a permanent load of 10,000 stress reversals. The ESB series is used wherever large clamping forces are required, such as when clamping press and punching tools or when clamping workpieces during machining.
The ENEMAC power clamping nuts can be used at any time, whether by the original equipment manufacturer or as a retrofit element.
